PRE SCHOOL 4’S- WILL CONTINUE MAKING A RAINBOW FISH AND PRACTICE DRAWING CIRCLES
KINDERGARTEN- WILL BE FOCUS ON DRAWING SHAPES AND CUTTING SKILLS
1ST GRADE- WILL CONTINUE PAINTING A FLORAL PAINTING BASED ON GEORGIA O’KEEFFE’S ART
2ND GRADE- WILL WORK ON A PAPER WEAVING AND A HAUNTED HOUSE ASSEMBLAGE
2/3 MIX- WILL BE WORKING ON THE SAME PROJECTS LISTED FOR THEIR GRADE
3RD GRADE – WILL CONTINUE A 3-D INDIAN CORN PROJECT
4TH GRADE- WILL CONTINUE STUDY OF THE MEXICAN CELEBRATION OF THE “DAY OF THE DEAD”
4/5 MIX- WILL BE WORKING ON THE SAME PROJECTS LISTED FOR THEIR GRADE
5TH GRADE- WILL CONTINUE WORK ON A REVERSE GLASS PAINTING THAT IS DESIGNED WITH EMPHASIS ON THE “DAY OF THE DEAD”, A TRADITIONAL MEXICAN HOLIDAY
6TH GRADE- WILL FINISH THEIR U.S. POSTAL STAMP DESIGNS AND START WORKING ON A STAINED GLASS (PAPER) DESIGN
7TH GRADE- WILL CONTINUE WORKING ON A ROPE/YARN BASKET
8TH GRADE- WILL CONTINUE WORK ON AN ALTERED BOOK. ITEMS LIKE PHOTOCOPIES (NOT ORIGINALS) OF FAMILY AND FRIEND PHOTOS, SCRAPS OF FABRIC OR RIBBON, TICKET STUBS, SMALL MOMENTOS (NOT SUPER IMPORTANT ONES), GLUE STICKS, SCRAPBOOK PAPER, RUBBER STAMPS, ANYTHING THIN THAT CAN BE GLUED INTO THE BOOK, COOL PICS FROM MAGAZINES, PICTURES OF SPORTS HEROS, CARS, FLOWERS, FAV FOODS, ETC. CAN BE BROUGHT IN TO USE IN THE BOOK.
